Paul Standard
"I can learn guitar on a Les Paul Standard?
Before my uncle died he left in my possession a Les Paul Standard and I was wondering if I can learn guitar on this or should I start with an Acoustic Guitar or a cheaper?
A Les Paul is a great guitarist and if the neck is too thick for their hands, would be a great tool for learning. But if it is too difficult, do not assume that you're just not made to play the guitar. Les Paul's neck is fat, which can make them difficult for beginners or people with small hands to play. More work is needed to get the right fingers and move smoothly between the chords on guitar with the fat neck. It is worth taking the Les Paul a try, especially since it has a story for you. But if the typing is too hard, you can try to go to a guitar shop and test drive a lot of guitars to see if there is one that works best for you. Ibanez guitars (electric and acoustic), for example, are famous for their thin neck, easy to use. Takamine Jasmine Acoustic And also have a very playable neck. And if you have to buy a guitar with a small neck, no shame in it. Once you are comfortable playing the Guitar Neck thin, have an easier transition back to the Les Paul. Good luck!
