guitar construction, bolt-neck w / bridge tuneomatic pros and cons?
Assume the task of building my own guitar and I'm hoping to use a screw in the neck style (no neck construction) with a bridge matic style or tone. I think I have to route the neck pocket at an angle to work and not have high action. Just wondering if anyone has any tips or advice.
Without more specific details I can not give an exact answer, but my guess is that you want a neck angle of about 2 or 3 degrees. Les Paul guitar tends to have a neck angle of 4 to 4.5 degrees, but you probably angle do not want much for two reasons. The first is that the top of the arch of the LP is about a half inch taller in the middle than the edge of tuning fork while resting on the guitar you have in mind is likely to be a flat body. The other difference is that with the bolt on neck, the typical arrangement pitch and a good deal Neck is the thickness above the plane of the upper body. This geometry is more like a LP Junior or SG, which generally have a neck angle of 2 3 degrees, hence my suggestion that you start with an angle in that range. If you knew the angle of the neck to make sure they could use the angle and length the neck of the bag and a little trigonometry to calculate how much deeper the pocket has to be on the leading edge. But only conjecture to work (even though a guess) to do a demo to know for sure to determine the exact angle of the neck which you want to purchase the neck to use, the bridge or at least at a height measurement that you will use a 3-foot metal ruler, and have the neck pocket prepared template. Then route the neck pocket at 0 degrees on a piece of 2×4 the length of the body. Then, with the neck instead of 2×4 to mark the location of the bridge (the brand will be 2 times the distance from the nut as the distance from the nut to the center of the twelfth fret) (see some of my other answers for more information on the design of scale). Then, the bridge (or a place at the same height) in the brand. Now use the metal edge directly from the bridge to span the first box. Then, using shims (thin strips plastic, for example) stacking at the end of the neck until the ruler touches all the dishes. Finally measure the thickness of the stack of shims. This is the deeper pocket has to be in the front (on the perimeter bodies) of the bag. To place a wedge Route Length thickness of shims in the template proof just over the back of the bag and let the rest of the workforce in the body in the front. It would be easier to do this while the body is still in white square if you have not allready cut. Some shims under the template in the center may be necessary to maintain the bending template so the bottom of the bag is kept flat. Once you have this all settled can repress the template and the way of pocket. You may want to practice this on scrap before risk to spoil your good wood. The good thing about a bolt on neck is the neck angle is not as critical as it would if you were hitting. If you are off a little to be done small corrections with shims under the neck. Just be in the stadium. Good luck with your project.

How 3-wire Single Coil Fender Scn 3 dedicated volume pots above switches and tone pots?
I want each pill has its own volume and Tone Control rather than general, or changing options. (Sss, vol 3, 0 five-Way Switch). Are the pills Samarium-Cobalt Noiseless and have 3 each one carries.
The legendary surf guitarist Dick Dale does with all Fender Strats and pads are used more or less the same as yours. Probably used ring resistance, specifically to the tone. I included links to some useful diagrams below.

HSS Fender Start Vs. SSS with the double stack rail or hot?
Hey I'm looking to buy a Mexican Fender Start. I want a humbucker but I'm not sure if I should make a start HSS or just get an SSS start and change of the van, probably would put a Seymour Duncan SHR-1. The FSS are Strats expensive than SSS Strats with Seymour Duncan, but I want to know what would sound better.
HSS. If you really like the first, but I really versatile get the HSS. The SSS will provide the original startup sound, but the HSS has a humbucker in the bridge and give him a lot more tonal options. And the change to an SD card would be a good idea, especially if you get a MIM, because the pills arent the biggest securities or warmer. Go for it man, also looking around in HSH config guitars if the care of people.
which frequency is the Tone Control on electric guitars meant to filter up to?
I have curiosity, how often does the tone potentiometer to filter the signal? I love to get some insight. It is evident that the value can range from the guitars, but what is the cutoff for a Gibson with humbuckers and a fender with a Single Coil?
Control Guitar Tone is a frequency-selective electronic circuit consisting of a simple potentiometer connected in series with a capacitor and two in parallel with an inductor. The condenser to pass high frequencies, and the inductor to pass the low frequencies, while resistance controls the amount of the signal reaches the output. Turning the tone control is by varying the resistance of the potentiometer and the selection of the bell sound way. Turning the knob of a pot varies to read "more acute" that deviates across the capacitor to ground. While turning the knob to another raises the treble side and thought more of the signal lead inductance to ground, thus reducing the bass.
The Chrome Control knobs that I like are the easiest to find online. If you get some of them, you can buy the rest later, but I would just finish it all right now and get it over with. These Chrome Control circuits are among the best in the guitar industry. Guitars really need some great Chrome Knobs.
